    The term "Yoga" in Sanskrit means "union". Yoga combines physical exercises, mental meditation and breathing techniques to strengthen the muscles and relieve stress.

  • What should I bring to Class
    When atending a yoga class we advise you to bring: - A bottle of water - A towel - A warm jumper
  • What should I wear?
    Your yoga attire should be comfortable and something that allows you to move, stretch and breathe with ease without getting in your way.
  • Can Pregnant women do Yoga.
    Yes. Yoga is great for pregnant women, it has shown to reduce anxiety and help to stay calm in pregnancy and labour. It is still desireable to consult a doctor and let the yoga teacher know of pregnancies as some yoga poses are not suitable for pregnant women.
  • Can I eat or drink before yoga
    We recommend to give yourself 30 to 60 minutes between a light snack and your yoga class and 1 to 3 hours if having a full meal. But every individual is different so it is important to listen to your body and find out what works best for you.
